Last year, we proudly announced Fair Planet’s support for the Vidjingni “Les Archanges” center in Dékanmè, Benin. Founded in 1995 and run by the Sisters of Saint Augustine, this center takes in severely disabled and often abandoned children. Their mission, both educational and therapeutic, represents a daily commitment to offering these young people a more dignified life, despite the difficulties.

Fair Planet’s first contribution enabled the drilling of a well, thus guaranteeing the center permanent access to drinking water. This well is still in use and continues to be a source of joy for the orphanage. This essential advance has considerably lightened the financial burden on the orphanage while improving the quality of life of its residents.

Aware that improving living conditions requires long-term support, we have chosen to renew our support this year. Thanks to this aid, the center has been able to purchase beds, mattresses, and mosquito nets, finally providing the children with the basic comfort of a proper place to sleep. Until then, most of them slept on straw mattresses laid directly on the floor.

This simple yet fundamental action illustrates Fair Planet’s mission: to provide concrete and sustainable solutions to the needs of the most vulnerable. It also demonstrates our commitment to supporting those who work day after day to restore dignity and hope to the most disadvantaged.

Fair Planet will continue its commitment to the Vidjingni “Les Archanges” center and will continue to support projects with a strong human impact, convinced that every gesture counts in bringing about lasting change in people’s lives.
